How do I volunteer?

We're excited that you're interested in serving at Central Baptist Church Thornton! Every ministry is strengthened by people who are willing to use their God-given gifts to serve others and share the love of Christ.

Getting Started is Easy
1. Complete a Volunteer Interest Form
Let us know a little about yourself, your interests, and where you feel called to serve.

2. Connect with a Ministry Leader
A ministry leader will reach out to answer your questions, share ministry expectations, and help you find the best fit for your gifts and passions.

3. Complete Any Required Screening
For the safety of our church family, volunteers serving with children and students must complete a background check and any required ministry training before serving.

4. Begin Serving
Once you're approved, you'll be welcomed onto the team and begin serving alongside others who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ.

How do I volunteer with music?

Interested in Serving in Music or Tech?
The Worship and Media Ministry at Central Baptist Church Thornton is always looking for people who have a heart to serve and a desire to use their gifts for God's glory. Whether you're an experienced musician, vocalist, sound technician, presentation operator, lighting volunteer, or simply interested in learning, we'd love to help you find your place on the team.

How to Get Started
1. Contact Michael Goodrich (Worship Minister)
Reach out to Mike to express your interest in serving. He'll answer your questions and help you learn more about the Worship and Tech Ministry.

2. Meet & Connect
You'll have an opportunity to meet with Mike to discuss your experience, spiritual gifts, availability, and where you may best serve.

3. Team Preparation
Depending on the area you're interested in, you may be invited to attend a rehearsal, shadow a current team member, or complete additional training before joining the rotation.
